Why Read? Well, why think? or breathe? or speak? You read everyday without even realizing. It may not be a book but a text message or a billboard or even just the bathroom "girls" or "boys" sign. Reading offers alot, especially when reaing books.
Books and novels offer a few pages to a whole nother world. It can be a 16th century story of kings and queens, or a futuristic battle between aliens and robots. The vast array of genres leave a reader with a choice of which world they'd like to jump into next. There is a book for everyone and it allows them the freedom to become detectives, artists, lovers, friends, princes and princess, or anything you could think of. Books give you the oppurtunity to let your imagination run wild and become things you could only dream of.
Reading is a key to life. Whether you enjoy it or not is up to you. But think, every cover page you open up, is an oppurtunity for your mind to build a new world. Open up, turn the Paige, there is much waiting on the other side.
